InstaGlow On The Go was founded by Jess Thomson in June 2024. She is a native Texan with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and MBA in Healthcare Management, as well as a certification for spray tanning.

Skin Preparation
Proper skin prep is important in order to achieve the flawless, long-lasting glow that everyone desires. One of the most important steps 24 hours prior to any spray tanning appointment is to exfoliate the skin. However, it is imperative to avoid harsh exfoliants, such as scrubs containing walnut shells or microbeads as these can create micro-tearing of the skin, which will lead to an uneven, patchy-like tan.
Clothing & Accessories
Loose, dark clothing is most perferred post appointment. Tight clothing will rub against the skin, causing the tan to rub off.
Tie your hair back with a hair tie or clip, or use a headband, to keep the hair up and off the skin and away from the face. This helps to precvent the tan from getting into the hair and helps ensure an even tan.
All jewelry needs to be removed prior to the appointment. If you have permanent jewelry, a bracelet or anklet, we can work around these. Perfume and scented lotions or deodorants should not be applied the day of the appointment as these can interfere with the development of the tan and can cause the skin to turn green.
